Bordeaux is a city that works well for family outings. The center is pedestrian, the riverbanks are wide, and there's room to breathe with children.

When it rains

Natural History Museum

Taxidermied animals, dinosaur gallery and discovery area for younger ones. Indoor visit in a beautifully restored building, with elevator and family facilities.

Mériadeck Media Library

Large municipal library with youth floor. Books, floor cushions, and story time some days. Quiet place to rest, diapers and bottles welcome (nursery space available).

Parc Bordelais

Large wooded park popular with families, with playground, tourist train and animal enclosures (deer, goats). Picnic tables and shaded paths, perfect for an afternoon outdoors.
